Efficient
Lots of power and a long reach
BPT technology
The power transmission of the Biber Powertruck technology developed by Eschlböck enables a high power transmission from the truck engine to the chipper with lowest fuel and CO² consumption at the same time.
Automatic transmission
The chipper is driven by a sinlge-stage transmission positioned between the truck engine and the truck automatic transmission. The power is provided directly to the chipper. This saves fuel and the automatic transmission is protected.
Fast and comfortable
The wood chipper can reach the place of use quickly and comfortable with up to 80 km/h travel speed.
Vican
The Biber Power Truck VICAN is equipped with an intermediate gearbox specially developed for the chipping operation and only available from Eschlböck, which is installed between the truck engine and the automatic transmission. This forms the basis for more power, efficiency and comfort in chipping operation: full power reduction without losses due to intermediate drives, a powershift clutch and the chipping rotor does not have to be disengaged for moving the vehicle in driving mode.
The VICAN chassis is a Volvo FH 16 with 750 hp drive power and 3,550 Nm torque. The tridem chassis ensures full utilization of the 32 tons and the Power Truck can therefore be registered without a special permit. An 8x4 drive brings the full engine power from first gear to the first two rear axles. All functions for the chipping operation can be controlled from the operator station. Chipper and crane by means of the Best Control control system from Eschlböck and the two crane joysticks.
The proven Eschlböck cooler concept is also installed in the VICAN: Easy to clean and a constant cooling is guaranteed here. The crane was specially developed by Eschlböck in cooperation with Palfinger Epsilon and assembled from proven components. The S110F 104 has a reach of 10.4 m, which is further extended by the off-center mounting position. This overall concept allows the VICAN to powerfully showcase its 750 hp in every chipping operation.

Marox
MAROX is the new chipper with Biber Powertruck technology based on MAN. The latest model from Eschlböck is equipped with the new EURO 6d engine generation and impresses with its 6x6 axle configuration and off-road capability.
Also important for the operator is driving with automatic transmission. The Biber Powertruck technology installed by Eschlböck enables driving and chipping from the operator’s station and ensures fuel-saving effective energy use in chipping.

Durox
The Biber 84 DUROX is the new vehicle line on an off-road truck chassis for professional wood chip production with Eschlböck. With a Biber 84, an ideal chipper size for a wide range of applications, the new DUROX is unmatched in terms of versatility, efficiency, and economy.
In addition to MAN (MAROX 6x6 and MAROX 8x8) and VOLVO (VICTOR and VICAN), Daimler Truck (DUROX 6x6) is now also part of the Eschlböck portfolio. A Biber 84 based on a Mercedes Arocs 6x6 with Euro 6 E engine, 530 hp, and 2600 Nm. Eschlböck has thus developed another new vehicle line that is optimally equipped for chipping operations and combines two extremes: outstanding off-road capability with all-wheel drive and fast transmission speeds of up to 80 km/h.
The new Biber Truck offers automatic transmission and off-road capability, but above all comfort for the chipper driver. Care was taken to ensure clear, simple, and practical maintenance.
